Wet ball mill
Sand processing by means of a wet ball mill has proven to be an economically advantageous solution for the manufacture of aerated concrete.
Masa attach great importance to an efficient plant layout - therefore, we consider important raw material parameters, such as the particle size distribution curve of the sand and the specific size reduction energy, the so-called Bond Work Index. The advantage for our customers is a sand processing system that is optimally adapted to the required factory capacity and the available raw materials.
As well as normal water it is possible to use well-cooled and processed condensate from the hardening process for the wet milling process. Therefore, Masa generally offer two dosing units including the required flow meters and control valves. The percentages of water and condensate can simply be entered via the control system.
The Masa control system for sand processing continuously supervises the most important parameters, such as the sand slurry density, the added quantities of sand and water/condensate. Desired and actual values are monitored. The user-friendly operating interface with visualization system enables easy operation of the complete sand processing plant. The most important sand processing data are constantly available.
